In addition to the available zones, the system can have a total of 16 wireless keyfobs. The system can use any of the DSC 433mhz wireless devices. Your not likely to run out of zones with this panel. Each installed point of detection (door or window sensor, smoke detector, motion detector, etc) uses one available zone. With 64 available zones, the Impassa has more available zones than most of the other wireless alarm systems on the market. The buttons on the keypad, like most DSC keypads, are made of a rubber material that will last for a long time without wearing.
